Lauren Bahr is a Texas-born artist currently working in Brooklyn. She earned a BA in Theatre and Dance from The University of Texas in 2005, planning to start a career in acting, then promptly decided against it upon moving to New York, in favor of going back to her roots as a visual artist. Lauren has created collaborative and standalone work in a variety of media including music, painting, fabric installation, and performance art; she has shown at Ramekin Crucible, GalleryBar and performed in many NYC venues including Glasslands, Galapagos, 3LD Arts and Technology Center, The Public, Cameo Gallery and Death By Audio.
